How to Size Your Maia Bra

As we've mentioned, we think that bra sizing is bullshit.

It's complicated and archaic and, for moms, it's a moving target.

Our solution is to create a flexible bra that can grow and shrink and change with mom bodies throughout pregnancy and postpartum (and post-postpartum). We also understand that standard bralette sizing (small, medium, large) doesn't work for everyone.

To both accommodate the mamas who need more sizing options as well as allow for the flexibility needed to keep up with mom bods, we've come up with a unique sizing system.

We have paired small, medium, large cup sizes paired with narrow, regular, and wide band sizes to better fit those of us with narrow ribs and big boobs or wide ribs and little boobs.

Let's put it this way: We're still doing small, medium, large sizes for your titties, but now you can customize narrow, regular, wide for your ribs.

The result correlates with standard bra sizing and looks like this:

Sizing is personal, and personal doesn't do inches. So we've dumped the measuring tape.

Instead, think about what bra you feel fit you the way you wanted it to pre-pregnancy. You can use that chart above, or give our fit calculator a try.

If you're already a bralette devotee or in a sports bra groove, you can still follow S, M, L guidelines for the cup size. For the band size you have options. If you know you have a narrow ribcage, go narrow, if not, go regular.

And if all else fails, know that returns and exchanges are free.
